Playing style
With its 8 notes, the Zenko Aqua produces an outstanding spherical sound. The resonance is rather short, which is perfect for percussive playing. The Zenko Aqua is played by hand or with the fingers. Alternatively, mallets can also be used, although care should be taken to use only short and rather hard mallets in order to achieve the best sound.
With the mallet you can dribble, bounce and swirl on the Zenko Aqua to create fascinating soundscapes. One hand can hold the mallet while the other hand plays without the mallet. The small size of the Zenko Aqua even makes one-handed playing possible.
